These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services of TheDetailMediq LLC ("TheDetailMediq," "we," "us," or "our"). By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
TheDetailMediq provides mobile and by-appointment auto detailing services in the Jackson, Mississippi metro, including washing, interior cleaning, paint sealant, machine polishing, ceramic coating, and related services. Services may be performed at your location (mobile) or at our studio.
2. Quotes & Pricing
- Prices provided online, by text, or by phone are estimates based on the information and photos you provide.
- Your final price is confirmed at the walk-around inspection before any work begins. The price we agree on is the price you pay.
- Pricing varies by vehicle size and condition. Mobile service may include a travel surcharge. Heavy soiling, pet hair, or neglect may add to the price, which we will state upfront.
3. Booking, Rescheduling & Weather
- Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Because we work outdoors for mobile jobs, we monitor the weather and may reschedule at no charge if conditions threaten your appointment window.
- Please give us reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the service, after you have inspected the vehicle and are satisfied with the result. We accept card, Apple Pay, and cash unless otherwise agreed.
5. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with any area we serviced, tell us before we leave (or at pickup) and we will re-do that area at no additional charge. The guarantee covers the workmanship of services performed and does not cover pre-existing conditions.
6. Vehicle Condition & Limitation of Liability
- You represent that you are the owner of the vehicle or authorized to have it serviced.
- Detailing can reveal pre-existing damage (e.g., scratches, chips, worn clear coat, stains, or wear) that was previously hidden by dirt. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or normal wear.
- Please remove valuables and personal items before service. We are not responsible for personal property left in the vehicle.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
7. Photography
We photograph vehicles before and after service for quality records and may use before/after and result images for marketing (e.g., our website and social media). Images do not include personal identifying information. If you prefer we not use images of your vehicle for marketing, let us know and we will honor that request.
8. Communications Consent
By providing your phone number, you agree that we may contact you by call and text about your quote, appointment, and service. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, with an updated "Last updated" date.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
